3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder Max Muncy had a rough time at the plate in Tuesday's 3-0 loss to Lance McCullers Jr. and the Houston Astros. Muncy went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in the game. It was just the second time this year that Muncy had struck out more than twice in a game. Muncy is coming off a strong month of July in which he slashed .315/.402/.562 with five home runs, 24 RBI and 14 runs. He's slashing .275/.409/.550 with 22 home runs, 62 RBI and 61 runs over 91 games on the year. His season-long 18.2% strikeout rate ranks in the 71st percentile.
