3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo helped lead the team to a 6-5 win over the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday. Baddoo went 2-for-5 with a home run and a double in the game. The home run was his 10th of the year and his fifth over his last 11 games. Baddoo is tapping into much more power this month than he was during his breakout June. He's slugging .506 in July after slugging .455 with no home runs in June. However, he has a .259 batting average this month, down from .348 in June. Baddoo is providing solid all-around value right now, highlighted by his 14 stolen bases on the year.
