Luis Robert Moving Rehab Assignment To Triple-A
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert (hip) is moving his minor league rehab assignment to Triple-A Charlotte. Robert has gone 3-for-12 with a double and three RBI in four games with Double-A Winston-Salem as he tries to make his way back from a Grade 3 right hip flexor strain. With his rehab moving to Triple-A, it's looking like Robert is getting close to rejoining the major league squad. Eloy Jimenez recently made his season debut for the Pale Hose, and this impressive team is nearing full strength to close out the regular season. In 95 at-bats before his injury, Robert was hitting .316/.359/.463 with a homer, eight RBI and four stolen bases. The 23-year-old has exciting power-speed upside and should be rostered in all leagues, especially in this stacked White Sox offense.
