Paolo Espino Solid For Five Innings Sunday
3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Paolo Espino was solid for five innings Sunday, giving up three runs on five hits and one walk in five innings against the Baltimore Orioles. He struck out six batters. All three of his runs allowed were on solo shots, but he was still in position for a win when he left the game. Unfortunately, he took a no-decision when Brad Hand blew the save. Espino has no place on fantasy rosters except in the deepest of NL-only leagues, but he's been decent this season with a 3.21 ERA and 1.05 ERA in 23 appearances including seven starts.
