Akil Baddoo Takes A Seat On Friday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo is not in the starting lineup on Friday against the Kansas City Royals and left-hander Kris Bubic. Baddoo has been one of the most impressive rookies in the game this year, hitting .268 with eight home runs, 35 runs scored, 36 RBI and 14 stolen bases to go along with a .343 on-base percentage and .816 OPS. He's become a must-start fantasy asset anytime he's in the starting lineup. Derek Hill will take over in center field on Friday and hit ninth against Bubic. If you're looking for a sneaky fantasy outfielder with upside in DFS on Friday, Hill probably isn't where you want to look. The 25-year-old has yet to homer this year and is 7-for-26 (.269) in a small sample size with three RBI and six stolen bases. There's just not much upside here.
