3 years agoDallas Cowboys kicker Greg Zuerlein (back) underwent offseason back surgery, which is why he's beginning training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Punter Hunter Niswander will handle the kicking duties in camp while Zuerlein recovers. Zuerlein has had back injuries before and had surgery in 2017 to fix a herniated disc. It's definitely something worth watching in the preseason, as the 33-year-old has top-five fantasy potential at his position in an explosive offense that is getting quarterback Dak Prescott back from a serious ankle injury last year. Unless the Cowboys tip their hand and sign another kicker to the roster, we can assume for now that Zuerlein is expected to be ready for Week 1.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
