3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays optioned second baseman Vidal Brujan to Triple-A Durham on Wednesday. Brujan, one of the team's top prospects, received his first major league call-up on July 7. He was seeing inconsistent playing time and was struggling at the plate. He appeared in nine games and went just 2-for-21 with a stolen base. The 23-year-old Brujan has been great at Triple-A this year. Over 49 games, he has a .259/.344/.471 slash line to go along with nine home runs and 15 stolen bases.
