Eric Haase Hits Solo Home Run In Tuesday's Win
3 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher/outfielder Eric Haase went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the team's 4-1 victory over the Texas Rangers on Tuesday. He is now tied for second on the Tigers in home runs with 14, despite playing in just 48 games this year. Haase had been primarily starting in the outfield lately, but with catcher Jake Rogers (forearm) now on the injured list, Haase figures to see more starts at catcher in the next few weeks. Haase's catcher eligibility makes him someone worth roster consideration in just about all formats. He has an .816 OPS this year and has been consistently providing power from the middle of the Tigers' lineup over the past few months.
