3 years agoThe New York Jets signed first-round offensive guard Alijah Vera-Tucker (the 14th overall pick in this year's draft) to a four-year rookie deal worth $15.885 million fully guaranteed on Tuesday. The deal includes an $8.9 million signing bonus and a fifth-year team option. Vera-Tucker will line up on the left side next to left tackle Mekhi Becton as they try to protect rookie first-round quarterback Zach Wilson in 2021. The 6-foot-4, 315-pounder played both tackle and guard at USC, but he will be moved inside at the next level. He should start immediately in what has become a much improved offensive line in New York.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
