Travis Shaw Hits On The Field
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers third baseman Travis Shaw (shoulder) hit on the field for the first time on Tuesday and is hoping to begin a minor league rehab assignment soon. Shaw suffered a separated left shoulder last month, but it's looking like he might be able to return to the Brew Crew next month. Aside from a little power, the 31-year-old left-handed slugger has been of little use to fantasy managers, even in deeper leagues. He's hit just .191/.279/.337 with six long balls and 28 RBI in his 178 at-bats. Shaw won't be guaranteed regular playing time at the hot corner when he returns. Luis Urias has been holding down third base regularly with Shaw sidelined, and he's been much more productive with the bat.
