3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Castellanos (wrist) remains out of the starting lineup on Monday against the New York Mets. Castellanos hasn't played since he was hit by a pitch on his right wrist last Friday. X-rays came back negative, but fantasy managers must continue to be patient and consider him day-to-day. He's been one of the best all-around hitters in the game in 2021, slashing .330/.384/.583 with 18 home runs, 59 runs scored, 59 RBI and two stolen bases in 336 at-bats. Shogo Akiyama will remain in center field and will hit seventh on Monday against Mets right-hander Jerad Eickhoff. Akiyama doesn't have a hit since July 7 and is still searching for his first major league home run in 103 career games the last two years.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
