Corey Seager Homers During Simulated Game
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (hand) hit a home run in seven at-bats during a simulated game at the team's spring training complex on Saturday. Seager could face reliever Corey Knebel in a simulated game on Monday, and the Dodgers might have a better idea of when Seager might be able to go on a rehab assignment after that. Last year's World Series MVP is a must-stash in all fantasy formats despite his pedestrian .265/.361/.422 slash line, four home runs and 22 RBI in 147 at-bats in 2021. Seager has been out since mid-May with a fractured right hand. When he's ready to return, Gavin Lux will shift back to the keystone, and he could lose valuable playing time while sharing time with Chris Taylor or others.
