BALLER MOVE: Add in Two-Catcher Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 4% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Young, emergent prospects are no stranger to the Chicago White Sox lineup in 2021, and while backstop Zack Collins hasn't had a great time overall in his MLB stints, he is finally on his way to a promising offensive season. On the season, Collins has hit three homers, stolen one base in two tries, and slashed for .230/.331/.381 across 126 AB, but his start was exceptionally cold with OPS of .696 and .553 in the first two months of the campaign.
However, over the last 54 AB spread through June and July, Collins has hit a home run, made both of his stolen base attempts, and hit for monthly slashes of .314/.385/.429 and .263/.391/.474. These numbers line up quite well with the 26-year-old's most recent run at Triple-A Charlotte in 2019 when he hit 19 home runs with a .951 OPS in 294 AB in 2019. With the complete offensive package snowballing together over these past couple of months, Zack Collins is worth taking a chance on in two-catcher formats.
