Eric Haase Goes Yard In Loss To Twins
3 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher/outfielder Eric Haase went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Minnesota Twins. The home run was his 13th of the year and his fourth already this month. He hit third in the lineup for the first time this year in Thursday's game. He'd been slotting in between fourth and sixth in his previous seven starts. He's been a nice surprise for the Tigers this year and should continue to be in the lineup more often than not going forward. He's a great waiver wire target for any fantasy manager in need of help at catcher. Over 41 games this year, Haase is slashing .250/.297/.568. He has 27 RBI and 24 runs to go along with his 13 home runs. His 113.2 mph max exit velocity ranks in the 89th percentile.
