Josh Donaldson Back In The Lineup Against Tigers
3 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson (hamstring) ran the bases before the game and is back in at third base while hitting second against Detroit Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal on Thursday night. Donaldson had been out of the lineup since last Saturday with a tight right hamstring, but this is good news for his fantasy managers and his real-life trade stock with the deadline approaching this month. You'll want to get Donaldson back into your lineups right away, as he was hitting .346 (9-for-26) with three home runs and seven RBI in his previous 14 games before suffering his injury last weekend. The veteran slugger is also batting .300 (21-for-70) with five of his 13 long balls and 11 RBI against left-handers this season.
