3 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers plan to run their offense this year through second-year quarterback Justin Herbert, which isn't much of a surprise after he won Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2020. "I wanted our offense to run through Justin Herbert … I wanted him to make it work and I think that's what's been fun to sort of get started," head coach Brandon Staley said. There's a lot to like about Herbert after he threw for 4,336 yards, 31 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions in his first year in the NFL, but he'll also be learning a completely new offense in just his second season. Herbert has the weapons to be successful in Year 2, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect too much from the Oregon product.
