3 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman Jesus Aguilar is not in the starting lineup on Monday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Garrett Cooper will take over at first base and hit third against Dodgers right-hander Walker Buehler. Aguilar is being rested after a big day at the plate on Sunday when he went 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in the loss to the Atlanta Braves. He's been pretty reliable this year for his fantasy managers, posting a .266/.327/.460 slash line with 13 home runs and 53 RBI in 309 plate appearances. Cooper has been just as good, if not better, hitting .276/.362/.449 with seven home runs and 28 RBI in 210 plate appearances, but he might not be the most attractive daily play in the tough matchup against Buehler.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
