3 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski (shin) is returning to the starting lineup on Thursday after fouling a ball off his shin on Monday night. Yastrzemski will return to right field and bat second on Thursday against Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Merrill Kelly. In the three games before his injury, the 30-year-old left-handed hitter had gone hitless in 11 at-bats with five strikeouts and one run scored. On the season, Yaz is slashing just .223/.327/.464, but he does have 10 home runs, 37 runs scored and 27 RBI in 254 plate appearances for the surprising first-place Giants. He's worth owning in deeper mixed leagues for the power alone, and he'll have some DFS appeal in his first game back in the two-hole against Kelly.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
