3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Avisail Garcia (hamstring) is dealing with left hamstring soreness but will be available off the bench on Thursday, according to manager Craig Counsell. Garcia was out of the lineup on Wednesday and remains out of the starting lineup on Thursday, and now we know why. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. The 30-year-old is hitting .239/.307/.443 on the year with 15 home runs, 35 runs scored, 46 RBI and four steals in 255 at-bats. He won't help with average or on-base percentage, but he's been a nice power source in 2021. Tyrone Taylor is back in right field and is hitting fifth against Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Wil Crowe on Thursday. Taylor is hitting only 223 on the season, but he does have six home runs and batted .263 (10-for-38) with three long balls in June.
