3 years agoToronto Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo said that one of catchers Danny Jansen (hamstring)/Alejandro Kirk (hip) could rejoin the team this weekend. Jansen went on the injured list three weeks ago with a hamstring strain and was hitting just .157/.248/.278 with three home runs and eight RBI in 108 at-bats at the time of his injury. Kirk is eligible to come off the 60-day injured list on Thursday. He also has three home runs and eight RBI on the season in 40 at-bats and could become relevant in two-catcher leagues if he sees regular playing time upon his return. Reese McGuire has been doing most of the backstop work with both Jansen and Kirk on the sidelines in recent weeks.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
