Akil Baddoo Racks Up Three Hits In Game 1 Of Doubleheader
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo helped lead the team to a 9-4 victory in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians. Baddoo went 3-for-5 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored in the game. He went on to sit out Game 2 of the doubleheader. Baddoo had a fantastic month of June, slashing .348/.434/.455 with five stolen bases, 10 RBI, 11 runs and only 13 strikeouts compared with 10 walks. He didn't hit a single home run in June, but he's made monumental strides in his plate discipline since the start of the year. He's worth a roster spot for anyone who needs outfield help in deep leagues or five-outfielder leagues.
