3 years agoCincinnati Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez and outfielder Tyler Naquin (wrist) are both out of the lineup on Wednesday against the San Diego Padres. Suarez appears to be getting the night off, while Naquin has been out all week with right wrist soreness. Consider Naquin day-to-day for now. Alejo Lopez is playing third base and batting fifth, while Shogo Akiyama is in center field and hitting eighth against Padres right-hander Joe Musgrove. Lopez made his major league debut on Monday and is 1-for-2 in his first two games. He was hitting an impressive .360/.437/.485 with two home runs and 27 RBI in 49 games in the minors, but his lack of power makes him a dart throw in DFS.
