Adam Duvall Hits A Ninth-Inning Home Run On Tuesday
3 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Adam Duvall hit his 17th home run of the season in Tuesday's loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. It was Duvall's only hit of the game, leaving him 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Duvall's bomb came at a good time, as his two-run shot brought the Marlins within one run in the ninth inning. Ultimately, the Marlins would lose by one run, but Duvall certainly did his part. He leads the team in home runs with his 17 and also in RBI with 55. He's batting just .216 but seems to get hits when they count and can put up runs in bunches. He's a prime trade candidate if the Marlins fall any further behind, even though they are publicly stating that they are trying to compete this season.
