Anthony Rendon Draws Two Walks In Sunday's Win
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon went 0-for-3 with two walks in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. It was his only hitless game of the week as he recorded at least a hit in each of his other four games last week. It's continued to be a strange year for Rendon, who is slashing just .228/.306/.355 with five home runs, 33 RBI and 18 runs over 52 games. He currently has the lowest xBA (.237) and xSLG (.375) of his career. He's suffered injuries to his groin, triceps and knee this year and one or all of these injuries are likely contributing to his continued struggles at the plate. Fantasy managers should remain patient with him and resist selling him while his value is this low.
