Carlos Correa On A Tear In June
4 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa is hitting .373/.514/.771 (31-for-83) with 21 RBI and 25 runs in his last 23 games. It has helped him raise his season slash line to .298/.391/.531 with 14 home runs, 53 runs scored and 43 RBI in 262 total at-bats. In 18 total games in June, the 26-year-old is 24-for-69 (.348) with a .458 on-base percentage, .710 slugging percentage, 1.168 OPS, 18 runs scored, seven doubles, six home runs and 16 RBI. His .383 BABIP means he's been a bit fortunate, but Correa has been scorching the ball all month. It goes without saying that he should be in starting lineups on Thursday night against Detroit Tigers right-hander Jose Urena.
