4 years agoNew York Mets infielder Jonathan Villar's (calf) MRI exam came back clean, and he could come off the bench on Wednesday against the Atlanta Braves. Villar is out of the lineup for a second straight game with right calf soreness, but it looks like he dodged a trip to the 10-day injured list. Luis Guillorme is starting at the hot corner again on Wednesday and is hitting eighth against Braves right-hander Kyle Wright. Second baseman Jeff McNeil is back in the leadoff spot. While he's more attractive from a DFS standpoint hitting first, McNeil has one hit in seven at-bats since his return on Monday and is hitting just .236/.331/.358 on the season with three home runs and eight RBI in 121 plate appearances.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
