Aaron Civale Expected To Miss 4-5 Weeks
3 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Aaron Civale (finger) was diagnosed with a sprained right middle finger and will be shut down from throwing for one to two weeks. Civale is expected to miss between four to five weeks of game action. The 26-year-old right-hander injured his finger in his most recent start on Monday and had to leave the game early. It's a tough blow for a Cleveland starting rotation that is now missing their entire stable of starters from Opening Day. Civale leads all of baseball with 10 wins and has been great for fantasy managers, posting a 3.32 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 76:23 K:BB over his 15 starts covering 97 2/3 frames. Triston McKenzie and Logan Allen, who are both currently in the minors, are candidates to be called up to take Civale's spot in the rotation. Continue to stash Civale everywhere while he rehabs.
