4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Ketel Marte (hamstring) and shortstop Nick Ahmed are not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Marte left the game early on Wednesday night when his hamstring tightened up. Consider him day-to-day for now. Pavin Smith is in center field and hitting second, Josh Rojas is at shortstop and leading off and Josh Reddick is in right field and hitting seventh against Brewers right-hander Brandon Woodruff. Rojas and Smith have added DFS appeal on Wednesday as low-cost options. Rojas is hitting a pedestrian .250/.323/.436 on the season, but he does have nine home runs, 21 RBI and three steals in 70 games. Four of Smith's five homers this year have been against right-handers, but he's also hitting just .190 (4-for-21) with eight strikeouts in the last week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
