Alex Bregman Says "No Timetable" For Return
3 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman (quad) spoke with reporters about his strained left quad muscle on Saturday. He said, "Honestly there's no timetable really. It sucks. It's unfortunate, but just going to trust the rehab process." He also later added, "I'll be back and I'll be back stronger than ever." With the lack of a timeline, fantasy managers should expect to be without Bregman for a good stretch of the season. Hopefully we get at least a general timeline estimate soon. Abraham Toro has made the last two starts at third base for the Astros with Bregman sidelined. Toro is a worthy add in deep leagues and AL-only leagues. He's struggled in his brief stints in the MLB, but has a promising minor league track record.
