Miguel Andujar Stays Hot In Wednesday's Victory
3 years agoNew York Yankees infielder/outfielder Miguel Andujar kept up his strong stretch of play in Wednesday's 9-6 win over the Minnesota Twins. Andujar made outs in each of his first two plate appearances, though they were loud outs recorded at exit velocities of 100 MPH, suggesting that he was gearing up for a nice day at the plate. Sure enough, the 26-year-old tacked onto the Yankee lead in the fifth inning, homering 410-feet to center field at 102.9 MPH. Andujar later added a sacrifice fly for his second RBI of the game. Four of his five long balls have come in June, along with a .296 batting average in 27 at-bats in the month. Andujar should definitely be on fantasy manager's radars.
