Jose Urena Allows Three Runs In Return From Injured List
3 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Jose Urena made his return from the injured list on Sunday against the Chicago White Sox after missing the minimum 10 days due to a forearm injury. He pitched five innings and allowed six hits, two walks and three earned runs while striking out just one batter. The Tigers' bats were blanked by Dylan Cease in the game so Urena was tagged with the loss, his fifth of the year. He now has a 4.25 ERA and a 1.45 WHIP over 11 starts on the year. His next trip to the mound will be against the White Sox again on Saturday.
