Salvador Perez Goes Yard For His 10th Home Run
3 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Minnesota Twins. The home run was his 10th of the year. He is now slashing .277/.307/.487 with 31 RBI and 21 runs over 50 games on the season. He's been making some elite hard contact so far this year. He ranks in the 99th percentile in hard-hit rate (58%), the 96th percentile in average exit velocity (93.3 mph) and the 93rd percentile in xSLG (.568). Expect for the power numbers to keep rolling in.
