3 years agoOakland Athletics pitcher Jesus Luzardo (finger) will be activated from the injured list prior to Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. Athletics manager Bob Melvin told reporters that Luzardo will be working out of the bullpen upon his return. Luzardo missed about a month of action after suffering a hairline fracture in his left pinkie finger. He made six starts before the injury and went 1-3 with a 5.79 ERA and 1.61 WHIP. We'll likely see him end up back in the rotation sooner rather than later. He's worth a roster spot in deep leagues, but shallow league managers are fine leaving him on waivers for now.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
