Dodgers Activate Zach McKinstry From Injured List
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers activated second baseman/outfielder Zach McKinstry (oblique) from the injured list on Saturday. McKinstry had been sidelined since April 22 due to a right oblique strain. He was on an impressive run before the injury, slashing .296/.328/.556 with three home runs, five doubles and 14 RBI over 17 games. He should see a decent amount of playing time at least in the short-term while Corey Seager (hand) is out. Fantasy managers looking for an extra bat with multi-positional flexibility should consider adding McKinstry. The Dodgers also activated Cody Bellinger (leg) from the injured list and optioned outfielders DJ Peters and Sheldon Neuse to Triple-A on Saturday.
