3 years agoThe Detroit Tigers placed starting pitcher Jose Urena (forearm) on the 10-day injured list due to a right forearm strain on Saturday. Urena was forced to leave his last start on Wednesday early due to the injury. It was sounding as if he was likely to miss his next start, so it's no surprise to see him landing on the injured list. Urena's move to the injured list is retroactive to May 27. The team recalled infielder Zack Short in a corresponding move. It's unclear who will take Urena's spot in the rotation for now. The team will need someone to fill in for him on Monday against the Milwaukee Brewers.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
