Aaron Rodgers Remains A Great Downfield Passer
4 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers led the league in deep passing yards with 1,219 last season, also recording the second-most deep pass attempts of any qualifying quarterback in the NFL with 74. The veteran signal-caller won the MVP in 2020 and continued to excel with wide receiver Davante Adams, who was one of the top-10 pass-catchers last year. Rodgers led the league with 14 completions, 557 yards and six touchdowns on deep passes to slot receivers. The 37-year-old hasn't slowed down with his performance on the field, but there's concern that he will either retire or force a trade out of Green Bay because of his unhappiness with the front office. If Rodgers is playing elsewhere in 2021, it will make him a much more risky high-end QB1 for fantasy purposes.
