Indians Call Up Bradley Zimmer, Send Down Triston McKenzie
4 years agoThe Cleveland Indians have called up outfielder Bradley Zimmer from Triple-A. Starting pitcher Triston McKenzie has been sent down to Triple-A in a corresponding move. The move comes a day after McKenzie pitched five scoreless innings against the Detroit Tigers. Zimmer played in 20 games for the Indians last year. He struggled with a .162/.360/.243 slash line. Through 17 games at Triple-A this year, he had a .250/.408/.304 slash line to go along with four stolen bases. He certainly has stolen base potential, but he isn't worthy of roster consideration for any fantasy leagues at this point.
