Garrett Cooper Scratched Due To Injury Concerns
3 years agoMiami Marlins first baseman Garrett Cooper (oblique) was scratched from Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Cooper is dealing with oblique tightness, but the team states that he is sitting as a precaution. Adam Duvall moved into the starting lineup and could see a few starts, assuming Cooper sits out a few games. Cooper has cooled down with the bat lately, but is still worth rostering in mixed leagues. Hopefully this was just a precautionary move and he'll return to the lineup soon.
