Antonio Brown Passes Physical, Officially Re-Signs
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown (knee) passed his physical on Tuesday and officially re-signed his one-year deal worth up to $6.25 million, with $3.1 million fully guaranteed and a $2 million signing bonus. Brown played for just over the league minimum last year and had 45 catches for 483 yards and four touchdowns after joining the team in Week 9 following a suspension. He underwent knee surgery last week, which is expected to keep him out for a few weeks. The 32-year-old veteran has excellent chemistry with quarterback Tom Brady, but he'll be the No. 3 pass-catcher behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin in a Tampa offense that has plenty of weapons to spare. Brown may not be great each and every game, but he should put up solid numbers in this offense over a full season.
