4 years agoThe Detroit Tigers have recalled outfielder Victor Reyes from Triple-A. Reyes began the year with the team, but was demoted on May 7. After the demotion, he went on a tear at Triple-A slashing .419/.490/.581 over 11 games. The 26-year-old Reyes has shown flashes of potential in the Majors, but he struggled before his demotion this year, slashing .143/.169/.238 with just one home run over 21 games. The team optioned fellow outfielder JaCoby Jones in a corresponding move. Jones has a slash line of .170/.210/.250 over 36 games this year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
