Roberto Perez Transferred To 60-Day Injured List
4 years agoThe Cleveland Indians have transferred catcher Roberto Perez (finger) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list. Perez first landed on the injured list a few weeks ago after fracturing his right ring finger. He is expected to be out for a total of two months at least, so the move isn't much of a surprise. Before the injury, Perez appeared in 19 games and slashed .131/.274/.295 with three home runs, nine RBI and six runs. Austin Hedges will remain the team's primary catcher while Perez is sidelined.
