Jameson Taillon Allows Four Runs In No-Decision
4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jameson Taillon is still searching for his second victory of the season. Taillon didn't factor into the decision Tuesday, pitching 4 1/3 innings, allowing four runs on six hits while striking out three batters with two walks issued. The Florida native has allowed four runs or more in half of his starts and has surrendered a long ball in seven of eight trips to the mound. Taillon's 5.73 ERA is ugly any way you slice it, but his 3.56 expected ERA and 3.40 SIERA offer hope that he can turn things around. Fantasy managers shouldn't drop him, given his strikeout upside, though it would be wise to bench him with a tough matchup against the White Sox coming up.
