Kyrie Irving Does Something Of Everything In Sunday's Win
4 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving had a good all-around game in Sunday's 123-109 victory over Cleveland, closing the regular season with 17 points, six rebounds, three steals, three blocks and two assists. He was perfect from downtown with three attempts and shot 7-for-11 overall with one turnover in 29 minutes. Irving combined 40 points with Kevin Durant as James Harden (hamstring) got a day off. Brooklyn's Big Three rarely played together during the regular season, which is bad for chemistry, but as they say, great players always find a way to play together, so head coach Steve Nash likely hasn't lost any sleep because of it. Irving joined Durant, Larry Bird and Stephen Curry as the only players to average at least 25 points per game during a 50/40/90 season.
