4 years agoChicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu (face) tested negative for a concussion. The veteran left Game 1 of the doubleheader against the Kansas City Royals on Friday after colliding with Hunter Dozier. Although he suffered a contusion and laceration to his face, as well as a bruised left knee, he didn't appear to suffer any long-term damage. Fantasy managers should consider Abreu day-to-day, with his next chance to suit up taking place on Saturday night.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
