4 years agoDetroit Tigers third baseman Jeimer Candelario was scratched from Tuesday's starting lineup as he was feeling side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine shot. He returned to the lineup for Wednesday's game and helped the team defeat the Kansas City Royals 4-2. He went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double, a run and an RBI. Candelario has had a solid year overall and has been especially good in May. Through eight games this month, he's slashing .387/.472/.613 with two home runs, six RBI and eight runs. He should be rostered in all deep leagues and AL-only leagues. He's also worth roster consideration in more shallow leagues if you have somewhere to slot him into your lineup.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
