Randy Arozarena In Midst Of Home Run Drought
4 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena has had a decent start to the 2021 season, but he's yet to deliver the power production we saw from him last year. Through 34 games this season, Arozarena is slashing .258/.349/.375. He has only three home runs, the last of which coming on April 23 against the Toronto Blue Jays. He has a worrisome xBA of .182 and an equally concerning xSLG of .271. Both marks rank in the bottom 5% of the league. Arozarena should still be considered a fringe top-30 outfielder for now, but if the current trends continue, he could be a drop candidate in shallow fantasy leagues.
