Raimel Tapia Swipes A Bag In Tuesday's Loss
4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia went 0-for-3 with a run, a walk, a strikeout, and a stolen base in an 8-1 loss to the San Diego Padres on Tuesday. Tapia had his nine-game hitting streak snapped against Dinelson Lamet and the San Diego bullpen but he was still able to reach base with a walk, steal a base, and score the Rockies' only run. The 27-year-old has been excellent out of the leadoff spot for Colorado, slashing a stellar .306/.356/.427 with four home runs, 20 RBI, and four stolen bases over 124 at-bats this season. He'll continue to provide mixed-league value while being entrenched at the top of the batting order.
