4 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Jose Iglesias (back) was held out of the lineup for a third straight game on Monday against the Houston Astros. David Fletcher started in his place at shortstop while leading off against right-hander Luis Garcia. Iglesias remains day-to-day and could return to the lineup as early as Tuesday against Astros right-hander Lance McCullers Jr. Iglesias had a strong 2020 season with the bat and was hitting well before his injury, slashing .271/.289/.347 with two home runs and eight RBI in 118 at-bats. Fantasy managers that were riding his hot streak in deeper leagues will be hoping that he can keep it going when he returns, but you shouldn't have too high of hopes for the defensive whiz with just 37 career home runs over 10 big league seasons.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
