Adolis Garcia Stays Hot, Homers
4 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia jumpstarted an eighth-inning rally that led to the club's 9-8 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Saturday. The Cuban-born player hit a solo home run at the top of the inning to tie the game at seven. Struggling catcher Jonah Heim later hit a two-run double which included the winning run. Garcia was 2-for-4 in the game and stole his second base. Although he's streaky, the 28-year-old has been an invaluable member of the Rangers' offense given his power output and speed (although he's been caught stealing three times). He's owned in just 53% of Yahoo leagues so now is the time to snap him up before it's too late.
