Nick Gordon To Make Big-League Debut
4 years agoMinnesota Twins infielder Nick Gordon will make his big-league debut on Thursday against the Rangers. Gordon is starting at second and will bat seventh against Rangers' righty Jordan Lyles. The 25-year-old was called up in a corresponding move with Luis Arraez's placement on the injured list, and he's expected to provide depth off the bench for Minnesota. Gordon produced a .298/.342/.459 slash line with four homers and 14 stolen bases in 70 games at the Triple-A level in 2019.
